                        INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE (ICC)

In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015 in accordance with Sexual Harassment of women at work place (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) 2013, the College has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to deal with complaints related to sexual harassment at the work place.

OBJECTIVES :

1. To receive complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace (College)

2. To initiate and conduct an inquiry as per the procedure of ICC.

3.  To resolve Complaints by the aggrieved based on the guidelines of the ICC policy.

4. To maintain strict confidentiality throughout the process.

 

FUNCTIONS :

1. On receipt of the complaint, the ICC shall conduct a preliminary enquiry so as to ascertain the truth of the allegations.

2. The ICC shall try to collect evidences, documentary, audio and witness and meet the complainant.

3. The preliminary enquiry report is to be submitted to the Principal and upon further investigations, necessary steps are to be taken to find a resolution within Ninety (90) days.

4. If the complaint and allegations turn out to be false, forged, malicious and misleading, the ICC reserves the right to take action against the complainant in accordance with the aforementioned UGC Regulations 2015.
