Message from the President

I am very fortunate to be a part of Indas Mahavidyalaya, where quality education is provided in addition to social service. Today, the role of this college is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate, mold and empower our students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global arena. We have to provide an intellectually challenging environment to our students for multifaceted development, where students are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence and become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century. This can only be possible in an inclusive, conducive and student-centric environment, where their talents, skills, and abilities need to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged.

The college has a dedicated and sincere faculty for whom the academic interest of the students is of utmost importance and can boast of consistently excellent results in the University examination. By the end of their college life students are equipped with inner strength and confidence to face society in general and the world of higher learning in particular and to become a complete man or woman. It is one of the premier institutions in the district of Bankura and has occupied a glorious position in the field of higher education through its very successful students placed in responsible positions in society in various fields of activity today.

Lastly, and most importantly, our aim is to instill values in our children so that they grow up to be good human beings and responsible citizens. Together let's teach them the importance of values and attributes like kindness, honesty, generosity, humility, optimism, perseverance, tolerance and more…..so that they create a beautiful world around them.
