CAPACITY BUILDING
Capacity Building is defined as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that organizations and communities need in the present dynamic state of affairs. It is the improvement in an individual's capability "to produce, perform or deploy". Capacity building or capacity development is the process by which individuals obtain, improve, and retain the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment and other resources needed to do their jobs competently or to a greater capacity. An essential ingredient in capacity building is transformation that is generated and sustained over time from within. With this view in mind and to materialize its commitment to the stakeholders, the institution conducts a range of courses like Career Counseling and Guidance for Competitive Examinations on a regular basis within its premises. The goal is to nurture the various faculties of the students in order to enhance their employability quotient as well as to transform them into resourceful and responsible citizens. Short term courses like Basic Mathematics and Basic English have proved significant as follow-up modules for their computational, comprehensive and communicative capabilities. Reasoning and Aptitude Course which includes Verbal, Non-verbal and Miscellaneous Logical Reasoning modules have enhanced and built superior capacity among the benefactors. The institution believes in the optimum utilization of the resources at its disposal in order to deliver the maximum benefit to students across different courses, on a regular basis, to make them better equipped to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world.
